Bilingual Content Designer/Copywriter (Arabic & English)

For our Riyadh office, we are currently looking for a Saudi copywriter with native-level proficiency in Arabic and English at the C1 level to support our client in creating high-quality, user-centred content for a knowledge platform.

Contract duration: 6 months; possibility of extending to a fixed annual contract

Daily engagement: full time (8 hours)

• Availability required from Sunday to Thursday between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM (GMT+3)

• Flexible work mode (onsite or hybrid)

• Work in a modern office (PMRV FVM, King Abdullah Dt., Riyadh 12211, Saudi Arabia)

Your Daily Tasks and Responsibilities

1. Content Research & Planning

• Research content needs: Collaborate with UX designers and product managers to gather information and business requirements that need to be transferred into knowledge content (e.g. how-to articles, popular questions). 

• Plan content updates: Collaborate with stakeholders (product managers and development team) to identify content gaps and prioritize new topics or updates.

• Data-based content creation: Review analytics, user feedback, and team insights.

2. Content Creation

• Arabic & English copywriting: Create clear, concise, and actionable content for guides, FAQs, and instructional articles in English and Arabic.

• Content design: Simplify complex regulations into user-friendly language and easy-to-follow content structure while ensuring accuracy and consistency.

• Content reviews and corrections: Provide ongoing reviews and content updates. 

• Ensure cultural relevance: Adapt content to Saudi and international audiences, considering tone, formality, and localization nuances.

3. Translation & Localization

• Translate content: Translate the English content to Arabic (and vice versa) while maintaining the intended tone, structure, and cultural relevance.

• Localize terminology: Use the brand’s bilingual glossary and style guide to maintain consistency in technical and legal terms.

• Edit and proofread: Ensure both language versions are error-free and align with the brand’s style and tone.

4. Collaboration & Communication

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work with UX designers, developers, and product managers to align content with user flows and platform updates.

• Attend team stand-ups or check-ins: Share progress, discuss blockers, and align with project goals.

• Provide language expertise: Support teams with Arabic copy or cultural advice as needed.

• Document processes: Create or refine content workflows to streamline collaboration and approvals.
